REUNION NEWS

Hello from REUNION,

We hope all of you are having a great summer. It is hot and dry here in Rockport, TX.  The town is full of summer tourist and we like it that way. Our community is blessed to have visitors in both the summer and winter seasons. We have our summer tourist and in the cooler months we have "Winter Texans" in our area. We welcome our visitors all during the year.

Another 4th of July has come and passed and of course Reunion spent the day singing in Victoria. It was Reunion's eighth 4th of July singing and Pam and I were there at least 15 times when we were with The Song of Glory. That makes about 23 years of singing in Victoria at the singing that Mel Felder started several decades ago. Since Bro. Mel left us a few years ago Lola Felder, with the help of John Petty, has done such a great job of continuing the singings. We appreciate them so much. The Song Of Glory, Telestials, and New Direction groups joined us there as well as solo singers Jim Miller and Dwaine Harbors. I got to catch up with Reunion's good friend John Baker. He gave me a progress report on the health of our adopted Aunt Grace. We need to continue lifting her up in prayer as she is having some health issues. It is always a joy to sing and fellowship with our good friends in Victoria.

Reunion is getting ready to take some summer time off. Pam, Hannah, and I will be leaving on a two week RV trip with the Hawes family so we will be enjoying some time with each other and the rest of the family as well. Pat and Stacy are doing well and I'm sure we will all enjoy the time off.

We wish for all of you a very happy and safe summer. We will look for you at one of our singing dates after the summer break.

For a complete schedule of our upcoming dates please visit the schedule page in this web site.

We need to continue to pray for the many young men and women still stationed in foreign lands protecting our freedom. Many other US men and women are still in harm's way so let's continue to pray for and support them. Pat and Stacy have two sons, Bowen and Benny who are presently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. We are so blessed to live in "the land of the free and the home of the brave."

Please come to see us if we are going to be singing near your area.  Reunion appreciates your prayers and support so very much.  We are honored that we are given the opportunity to spread the Gospel message through music.
