Hello from REUNION,
Well
here we are at 2010. Last year was another good year for
Reunion. We had some great times and of course, there were
some challenges. Pam and Pat's parents and my Dad all had
major surgery at some point during 2009. I am happy to say
that they are all doing well at this time.
The new year
always starts with a bang at the Victoria County Gospel
Music Association New Year's Day Singing. We always look
forward to being there and seeing our friends that are on
the program. Once again, it was a great day for us. The next
week of the new year always brings us to The Rockport Gospel
Music Festival. Three days of great Gospel singing. This
year Gary Howard wanted to bring back the groups that were
on that first program 15 years ago. The original
members of The Song Of Glory got back together for a few
songs and the original Gospel Force members did some songs
as well. It was good to see Stephen, Anna, and Mary singing
with The Bailey Family again. Our friends The Springer
Family, The Telestials, The Goldens, David Fountain, Crimson
River, as well as some new groups were all there. It was fun
to visit with all of them and hear them sing.
Reunion is
excited to be going to the Amazing Grace Baptist Church in
Seguin, TX and to Circle "W" RV Park here in Rockport, TX in
January 2010. After we do those dates Reunion will not be
singing for a few weeks while Pat recovers from surgery. Pat
is scheduled for surgery in Corpus Christi on Jan. 27th. We
would all appreciate your prayer support for the surgery and
Pat's recovery. She is expected to be several weeks in
recovery so Reunion will not be singing during that time.
After Pat gets
back on her feet Reunion will be excited to be back on the
road singing and spreading God's message of good news
through song. We look forward to seeing you then.
For a complete
schedule of our upcoming dates please visit the schedule
page in this web site.
We need to
continue to pray for the many young men and women still
stationed in foreign lands protecting our freedom. Many other US men and
women are still in harm's way so let's continue to pray for
and support them. Pat and Stacy have two sons, Bowen and
Benny who are presently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. We are so
blessed to live in "the land of the free and the home of the
brave."
Please come to see us if we are going to be singing near
your area. Reunion appreciates your prayers and
support so very much. We are honored that we are given
the opportunity to spread the Gospel message through music.
